Personal Change Goals
What gets you up each day? What motivates you to head to work, handle chores, and care for your family each day? What is inside you right now, that makes you do the most basic tasks that ensures you and your family have shelter, food and clothing?
Now expand this list to include other physical & emotional wants, that while are not immediately life sustaining, provide a quality and length of life that will help you into old age.
This same motivation and drive that gets you going each day, to do the things you HAVE to do, can be expanded into a mindset that will make you do the things you WANT to do as well. To accomplish goals that are important to you, yet for various reasons, you have not been able to start or complete.
Learn how to identify, organize and accomplish your important personal change goals. Learn how to make your personal goals a priority in your life.
The Relationship between Physical & Emotional Health
To achieve your desired goals, there is a priority relationship you also need to foster, and that is the attention and melding of both your emotional and physical health. When one of these aspects is ignored or not given the care it requires, an imbalance in our well-being occurs, which negatively impacts both short and long-term health. When your health is poor, there is no opportunity or motivation to achieve other goals you want for yourself.
As you go forward to accomplish much wanted goals, consider if there are any toxic elements in your life, people who regularly bring you down and make you feel that you don’t deserve more for yourself.
Learning to recognize the toxic attributes in current relationships and encounters gives you the ability to protect your thoughts and internal dialogue. Don’t give your inner demons or others, the power to negatively influence you.
